How a mentor with 1,000 followers generated €1,315 in 21 days through automated qualification
The situation
Sandra runs an online business mentorship program. Her primary challenge was attracting and converting new clients consistently.
A key detail: Sandra had just over 1,000 Instagram followers. This modest following did not prevent her from achieving these results, demonstrating that audience volume does not dictate sales when a qualification process is properly engineered.
The starting point
After reviewing business metrics, we identified two operational priorities:
- Existing email list: An inactive subscriber list sat unused in her email marketing software. For these subscribers, we deployed a retention sequence.
- Instagram audience: Sandra published content regularly, but lacked a structured mechanism to convert followers into sales conversations.
We re-engineered the acquisition flow to make it direct, conversational, and tailored to her target audience's core difficulties.
The acquisition and qualification workflow
Because Sandra was active on Instagram, we focused efforts there over 21 days. Almost all posts carried a direct call to action inviting prospective clients to send a direct message.
From that initial interaction, the automated flow operated as follows:
- DM questionnaire: A 10-question sequence screened each prospect's business stage and needs.
- AI evaluation: Responses were evaluated automatically to determine the appropriate product fit.
- Immediate routing: Upon completing the questions, prospects instantly received personalized feedback and an offer aligned with their answers.
Funnel metrics
In 21 days, 20 prospective clients completed the questionnaire. Inquiries were routed as follows:
