How much does Manychat cost in 2026?

Manychat has a free plan and four paid plans: Essential, Pro, Business and Advanced. With annual billing they cost $14, $29, $69 and $139 per month; with monthly billing they cost $17, $39, $99 and $199. Each plan includes a number of active contacts per month, each contact above that number has an extra cost and WhatsApp messages are paid separately.
Prices checked in October 2026 on the official Manychat page and help center. Amounts are in US dollars and exclude taxes. Manychat sets the final price by billing country and shows it on the checkout page before payment.
What are the Manychat plans in 2026?
Manychat launched this pricing model on March 2, 2026. Accounts created from that date use it. Older accounts are being migrated country by country, and Manychat sends an email when the migration becomes available for your account.

What does each plan include?
Free
For testing. It includes 25 active contacts per month, 1 user, 1 inbox seat and up to 4 active automations at the same time. You connect 2 channels of your choice from Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Messenger and Telegram. WhatsApp, SMS and email are not available. The first message you send to each contact shows the text "Powered by Manychat". You do not need a credit card.
Essential
It includes 250 active contacts per month, unlimited automations, contact data collection, tags to segment contacts, 2 users and 1 inbox seat. It removes the Manychat branding from messages. It stays limited to 2 channels and does not allow WhatsApp, SMS or email. It has a 14-day free trial.
Pro
It includes 2,500 active contacts per month and 3 channels of your choice from Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS and email. It is the first plan with WhatsApp. It adds broadcasts, Manychat AI to reply to messages and comments, rules to organize the inbox, access to the Manychat API and sending of up to 10 thousand emails. It has 3 users and 2 inbox seats. It has a 14-day free trial.
Business and Advanced
Business includes 7,500 active contacts, unlimited channels, 5 users, 3 inbox seats, sending of up to 30 thousand emails and priority support. Advanced includes 25,000 active contacts, 10 users, 5 inbox seats and sending of up to 100 thousand emails. Neither has a trial period.
What is an active contact?
An active contact is a person you exchange messages with during the billing month, through automations, Manychat AI, broadcasts or the inbox. The number of messages does not count: one person is one active contact in that month, even if they talk to you on several channels.
The count resets every month, including on annual plans. Your followers do not count as contacts. You see the total in the Insights section of the Manychat dashboard.
How does the price rise with the number of contacts?
If you exceed the plan limit, automations keep working and Manychat charges each extra active contact. On annual plans, the excess is billed monthly.

Example: on monthly Pro, with 3,000 active contacts in a month, you pay the $39 plan price plus 500 contacts at $0.05, which is $25. The monthly total is $64, before taxes.
Manychat sends email and in-platform alerts when you approach the limit. You can set a cap on the excess or block it. If you move to a higher plan within the same billing cycle, Manychat cancels the excess already accumulated.
What if your account is still on the old model?
In the model before March 2026, Pro starts at $15 per month up to 500 contacts and changes tier automatically as the list grows. Here the total number of contacts in the account counts, and it does not reset monthly. Manychat calculates how long you stayed in each tier and adjusts the invoice. This Pro has monthly billing only and does not allow a maximum amount. The old free plan no longer exists: all Free accounts moved to the current Free.
What extra costs exist besides the plan?
- WhatsApp messages: not included in the plan. You pay for each delivered message from the Manychat Wallet balance, depending on the message category and the destination number's country. Since October 1, 2026, service messages are also charged after the first 1,000 free ones each month. - Emails above the limit: once you use the emails included in the plan, each email costs $0.003, paid from the Wallet.
- Extra inbox seats: on Pro, Business and Advanced plans, each additional seat costs $25.
- Manychat AI: in the current model it is included from Pro. On old-model accounts, Manychat AI is a separately paid extra; check the amount in Settings, Subscription.
- Taxes: published prices exclude taxes.
The Wallet needs a balance. If the balance falls below the cost of a WhatsApp message or an email, Manychat pauses the automations that send them. Turn on auto-recharge and set a daily limit in Settings, Billing, Wallet.
Which plan to choose if you work alone?
- You only want to test comment and DM replies on Instagram: Free is enough to build the automation and see it working, but it covers only 25 people per month.
- You use Instagram and up to 250 people per month talk to you: Essential covers unlimited automations without the Manychat branding.
- You need WhatsApp, broadcasts or AI replies: the minimum is Pro.
- You regularly exceed 2,500 active contacts: compare the cost of the excess on Pro with the Business monthly fee.

Can you test before paying?
Yes. Essential and Pro have a 14-day free trial. Business and Advanced do not. If you cancel within 30 days of purchase, you can request a refund from Manychat support.
Before choosing annual billing, consider these rules:
- You can switch from monthly to annual at any time, and the unused amount of the monthly fee becomes credit.
- On an annual plan you cannot downgrade or switch to monthly until the end of the contracted year.
- On an upgrade, a new billing period starts immediately and the unused amount of the previous plan is deducted.
